AD Health Check Tool Requirments

Below are the requirements for running the AD Health Check Tool.

  1. Requires Domain Administrator credentials to run all the tests.
  2. Dcdiag must be installed on the same computer running the toolkit. Dcdiag is installed on domain controllers by default. If you want to run the health check from non domain controller you will need to install the RSAT tools or manually install the DCDiag command. To manually install DCDiag copy the dcdiag.exe from a domain controller (c:\windows\system32\dcdiag.exe) to the same path on the other computer.
