List AD Users Group Membership

In this tutorial, you will learn how to list user’s group membership using the AD Pro Toolkit.

This tool will get the groups that a user is the Member Of.

Note. By default, this tool will get nested group members. You can turn this off by clicking on filters.

Step 1. Click on the Group Report Tool.

Step 2. Choose paths

  • Enter Domain = This will get all users group membership
  • Select OU or Group = Gets user group membership of users in an OU or group
  • Search = Search for a group

Step 3. Click Run

If you have a large network (many users and groups) the report can take a few minutes to complete.

When complete you can sort and filter on any columns.

You can also add additional columns or export the report to CSV, Excel or PDF.

To create an advanced filter right click any column and select filter editor.

Add or remove user fields by clicking the column button.

To export the report click the export button.
