Remove Users from Groups
Step-by-step guide on how to remove users from Active Directory groups using the AD Pro Toolkit.
Step 1. Click on Group Management
Step 2. Click the CSV Template button to download the CSV file.
Step 3. Edit the CSV template
- username = The user’s logon name.
- memberof = Name of the group you want to remove users from.
You can remove users from multiple groups by separating each group with a comma
Example CSV file.
Move to step 4 when the CSV is ready.
Step 4.
1. Select Remove Users from Groups
2. Select your CSV template and click run.
When it has finished running, review the logs for any errors.
