Software and Firewall

• NET 4.7.2 Runtime or higher – This is already included in windows, and you can install a later version if needed.
• Firewall:
  • TCP 389 (LDAP)
  • TCP 636 (LDAPS) – This is only used if you enable LDAPS
  • WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation)
    • WMI is only needed for the following tools (Local Admins Report, Local Certificates Report, NTFS Permissions Report and Find Service Accounts)
    • TCP Port 135
    • TCP 49152–65535 (dynamic port range)
• Group policy management console: The group policy reports require the group policy management console to be installed. This is included with the Microsoft RSAT tools.
• Permissions: To create and update objects in AD you will need permissions in Active Directory.
